Lately, I have lost all hope and ambition. I was on the verge of giving up on a project I was working on because I felt behind and as if I wasn’t achieving anything anymore. This feeling led me to realize that comparing our progress to others is not only unproductive but also detrimental to my mental health and self-esteem.

This realization came to me when I hit my breaking point much faster than I anticipated, and it was terrifying. There is nothing pleasant about realizing you are on the brink of giving up. I knew that not giving up vs giving up was a thousand times better no matter the outcome. Maintaining this mindset is incredibly challenging, but persistence through any challenge is our greatest strength even if we don’t always win. It’s what makes us unstoppable.
