Day 0: Kicking Off My Journey
About me, My Purpose , and My Goals:
About me:
I am a second-year undergraduate pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering. I am passionate about computers and eager to dive deep into the vast world of programming and software development.
That's the professional stuff... but what really brought me here is the sheer competitiveness in the field of computer science. The vastness of the software industry can be overwhelming, and I constantly feel FOMO (Fear of Missing Out). That’s why I decided to make the most of my college summer vacation, learning and improving as much as possible to become a proficient software engineer. I’m going to document and blog about my journey, sharing everything I learn to keep both you and myself updated on our progress.
My Purpose:
My purpose is similar to that of any other software engineer. While I am motivated by financial success, I also want to learn new things that will not only enhance my problem-solving and programming skills but also give me an edge in my career.
My Goals:
So here's our BIG GOAL :
I will focus on becoming a full stack developer within a year . Along with it our focus will be on establishing well social media presence .
DREAM BIG !START SMALL !
So here's our SMALL GOALS :
PARTICIPATION IN HACKTOBER IN THE MONTH OF OCTOBER
PARTICIPATION IN WINTER OF CODE AROUND DECEMBER
PARTICIPATION IN GOOGLE SUMMER OF CODE IN 2025
TODAY's LEARNINGS:
I've researched how to improve my coding skills and found some awesome YouTube videos. I will also share my resources.
Currently, I'm learning from:
FreeCodeCamp's Web Development with HTML & CSS – Full Course for Beginners
I will try to complete this course in 2 days and will let you know about everything i am going to learn so far.
Also I am following Codecademy's Computer Science course.
If you want I can provide my review on this course and what i have learned so far.
I have installed Visual Studio code editor on my laptop and added some extensions i to it .
Motivation:
This journey will definitely not be easy, but I will do my best to keep you updated. Feel free to provide any suggestions and improvements. I am new to blogging, so if there's anything more that can be added, please let me know.
thank you!
