From Despair to Determination

Life can be unpredictable, throwing us into moments of despair and disarray. As I entered my 6th semester, I found myself grappling with the aftermath of a breakup and the bitter politics that forced me to resign from the President position of my founded club. It felt like my world was crumbling. In the midst of this chaos, my mom told me, "It's never over... It's your new beginning."

Initially, her words were hard to grasp. Returning to campus in January, I felt isolated, having withdrawn from friends and activities. However, my mom's statement echoed in my mind, urging me to see beyond my current struggles. I began attending classes regularly and reconnecting with friends. Meeting new people and engaging in campus life slowly rekindled my spirit.

In this journey of rediscovery, I found a new passion with my startup company, SpectoV. While calling it a new relationship might sound humorous, it became a source of motivation and purpose. This shift in focus and dedication paid off—today, I proudly share that I achieved a 9.34 GPA in my 6th semester.

This is not about flaunting my GPA, but about inspiring my fellow juniors. You might face challenging days or even months at VIT where it feels like everything is falling apart. Remember, every ending is a new beginning. Keep working hard, keep learning, and most importantly, give yourself the time to heal and grow. Every setback is an opportunity to rise stronger. Embrace your new beginnings with courage and determination.
