An occurrence where personal, private, secret, or confidential information about an individual is disclosed without the user's consent or is stolen is known as a data breach.

Malware or hacking attacks are the main causes of data breaches. The following are other breach techniques that are commonly seen:

Insider leak: Data theft by a dependable person or an authority figure with access rights.

Payment card fraud: Physical skimming devices are used to steal payment card information.

Theft or loss of physical property includes files, laptops, office computers, portable drives, and other items.

Unintentional disclosure: Sensitive information may be made public due to errors or neglect.

Unknown: In a tiny percentage of instances, the precise breach mechanism is unclear or not disclosed.

With all of this, I know you are curious about how to determine whether your personal information has been compromised.

1. Go to your browser and click on the address

2.Look up Nordpass.com on the internet.

3. Enter your information to register and log in.

  1. click Data Breach Scanner in the tools section.

5.This is where you can configure your credit or debit card, email, or both.

6.After this, you can scan your information to see the outcomes. You will find out at this point whether or not any of your personal information has been compromised.
