Hello and Welcome!

I’m Stella, also known as DevStella, and I’m beyond excited to launch this journey with you! As a passionate developer, tech enthusiast, content creator, and aspiring motivator, I can’t wait to share my world with you.

Who I Am: My journey into technology began in an unexpected way. During my secondary school years, I was in the art department and knew nothing about the tech world I am part of today. I spent those years learning various skills, from making zobo and plantain chips to making and cutting hair also, tying gele for people at parties. Technology was not even on my radar.

That all changed a year after school when my sister suggested I try web development, specifically frontend development. At first, I was completely lost; I didn’t even know such a field existed. I enrolled in a program and moved in with my aunt to be closer to the training center. That decision opened my eyes to a world I had never imagined. Since then, I’ve explored many skills including content creation, social media management, and technical writing.

However, I always found myself returning to frontend development, where my true passion lies. This journey has helped me meet incredible people, and I’ve prioritized skill development to become a better person. I also love lending a hand to those around me, whether by motivating them or sharing my time and knowledge. I’ve had the joy of teaching both kids and adults the basics of HTML, CSS, and Git, impacting over 40 people. This includes over 30 students I taught during a summer camp, thanks to the bootcamp I attended. Helping others learn and grow brings me immense satisfaction and joy.

Why This Newsletter: This newsletter is a dream come true for me. I created it to blend my love for technology with my passion for motivation.
