Electhon'23, an ambitious 30-hour offline hackathon organized by the Election Commission of India and powered by Hack2skill, concluded at IIIT Bengaluru, India. The solution, proposed by a hackathon team and curated by the Election Commission of India, aims to increase voter participation through a multi-faceted approach. The strategy includes organizing full-day events, using crowd detection and analysis to optimize resource allocation, providing real-time information to voters through hologram or LCD displays, creating symbolic civic pride through indelible ink marks, and developing a metaverse election museum to educate and engage voters.
