Time To Change Your View About Vue.Js

Emmanuels Chukwudumebi | June 27, 2024

React, D3, jQuery(who uses this)and more are all libraries of the famous language JavaScript. These libraries have each specific functionality or attributes that distinguishes them from the rest.

Meanwhile, Vue, Angular, Ember, Next and so more are examples of Frameworks which we will discuss in this blog.

What Is A Frame Work

A framework is a structure that helps to simply and acceleration the development of an app by supplying adequate tools, required templates, and efficient response models. Frameworks include libraries, pre-written code, and other tools or features necessary to enhance productivity.

What Is A Library

This is the collection of modules, pre-written, or functions in which developers use to create or add specific functionality to their program. Libraries offer reusable function or components which save the developer time in writing code from scratch.

Understanding Vue

While React is still the biggest library for front-end development, it comes with a bit of a complicated structure due to its extensive library, which it covers with flexibility and easy integration to already existing project.

Could Vue Replace React

Currently, React is widely used, even in the job market, such as on https://hng.tech/hire. It's often a must-have skill to be considered for a position. However, replacing React with Vue is unlikely for now as React continues to grow. Personally, I recommend starting with React and later upgrading or switching if needed. In the near future, Vue and other frameworks could become suitable for the job.

My Goals During HNG Internship Program

During the program, I'm ready and willing to work on skill set especially in the area of communication, Front-End and problem-solving whilst gaining experience. To know more about the internship, https://hng.tech/internship.
