Welcome to my blog! I'm Shyam Karthick, a dedicated Software Developer at Bank of America, with a specialization in Mulesoft Based API Development. I hold a bachelor's degree in Information Technology from SRM IST, where I graduated with an impressive GPA of 9.4/10. My university years were marked by active leadership roles, serving as the President of the CHAT(Ethical Hackers Club of SRM) and the Chief Coordinator of the IT Department's Project Club, where I organized numerous technical events, hackathons, and cybersecurity projects.

My passion for cybersecurity extends beyond academia. I have ardently contributed to numerous projects in both Python and MuleSoft, showcasing my dedication and expertise. Additionally, I've participated in mobile app bug bounty programs, successfully identifying and reporting vulnerabilities in the popular ticket booking app "Ticketnew." Beyond these projects, I'm also in the process of publishing two research papers, one focused on networking and the other on cybersecurity.

In addition to my technical pursuits, I am a professional state-level tennis player. The discipline and resilience I’ve developed on the tennis court seamlessly translate into my professional and academic life. I'm deeply committed to continuous learning and mentorship, having guided many juniors in cybersecurity. My journey has also included internships in high-security government sectors, private sectors, and startups, enriching my experience and expertise.
