NodeOps Secures $5 Million Seed Round to Revolutionize Node Orchestration Layer
The NodeOps team is delighted to share an exciting piece of news: We have closed a funding round of $5 million. This investment will accelerate our efforts to revolutionize node infrastructure and establish ourselves as a one-of-a-kind, one-click node deployment platform for decentralized networks.
L1D, a renowned venture capital firm known for its strategic investments in cutting-edge blockchain technologies, led the funding round. We are honored to have L1D's trust and support as we venture into this exciting new chapter.
In addition to L1D's lead investment, we are awaiting the finalization of co-leading investments from several prominent participants, including:
Blockchain Founders Fund
Finality Capital
Oakgrave Ventures
Double Peak Group
Momentum6
Bitscale Capital
Among the distinguished angel investors participating in NodeOps are,
Richard Ma from Quantsamp
JD Kanani, previously the Founder of Polygon
Rushi from Movement Labs
Dorothy from AltLayer
Additionally, angel investors from industry stalwarts such as Polygon, Circle, and Frontier have also contributed to NodeOps' success and growth.
Let us take you through our vision and mission, what we do that has brought us such recognition in the Web3 ecosystem, and what we plan for our bright future.
NodeOps: One-click node deployer
As NodeOps, we’re betting on driving node infrastructure forward for the world. How? By stimulating speedy deployment and providing support for increasing blockchain networks as one of the first AVSes (Actively Validated Services) to develop a permissionless incentivization system on the blockchain. We have also established a value capture mechanism that benefits operators, developers, and protocols within the ecosystem. We aim to enrich the accessibility and efficiency of dependable infrastructure, promoting innovation and growth across the industry.
NodeOps: The Vision
Our vision is simple yet effective. We primarily aim to empower developers and node operators through a user-friendly platform. Our simplified approach makes it easier to use various protocols, ensuring that even newcomers can engage efficiently and effectively with our advanced technology. According to our founder, Naman Kabra, here’s what he says,
"NodeOps' growth trajectory is a testament to our team's dedication and the trust placed in us by our investors. With this new capital, we are poised to revolutionize the node infrastructure landscape, making it more efficient and sustainable."
Milestones and Future Directions
From day one, we’ve set ourselves apart by facilitating one-click deployment across all node infrastructures, including XAI Games, Hychain, Aethir and CARV. As of Q1-2024, we have supported over 17,000 nodes and powered over 20 live chains. With the new funding, we plan to significantly scale our operations, expand our infrastructure to encompass even more protocols, create incentive schemes that empower node operators and developers, and develop solid on-chain value capture strategies to drive the infrastructure.
What’s Next for NodeOps?
In the near future, we plan to introduce an AVS on EigenLayer. This move is intended to create a value-capture engine for developers, other AVSs, and Operators. The initiative will prioritize providing attractive incentives on top of the economic security offered by Ethereum, ultimately boosting participation and efficiency within the ecosystem using an on-chain permissionless infrastructure.
NodeOps is the only node operator supporting almost all of the recent node infrastructures that raised more than 125 million via their Node Sales, including XAI, HyChain, Avail, Zora, and more- with over 17,000 nodes powered by us in the last quarter alone. We currently support over 20 chains and deliver single-stop node deployment solutions for node infrastructures and relevant communities.
