My Transformative 6-Week Pre-Fellowship Journey with TIIDELab: Learning, Goals, Achievements and Challenges.

I will be rounding up the 6-week pre-fellowship program with TIIDELab, an innovative platform raising youth in technology and self reliance, I 'll be glad to share my learning journey, goals, achievements, and challenges encountered during this transformative experience.

Learning Journey

The program offered a comprehensive introduction to TIIDELab's features and best practices. I learnt;

- HTML (Hyper text mark-up language) - CSS (Cascading Styling Sheet) - python (Programming Language) - AI ( Artificial Intelligence) and a Soft skill classes to enhance and empower us in our learning journey.

The above outline programs were thought, as an aspiring tech that finds my way into the pre fellowship at no cost, i try to utilize my time in learning to grow, the coding journey using html as a structure of the web and using CSS in styling the web was pretty much understanding with Unclebigbay way of teaching, following his explanation and step by step coding in his learning video platform was easy to grab and implement, the html and CSS class was fun, i did so many practices using the barber shop web page to build myself and where ever i mix it up during the practice i always reach out to Unclebigbay and he will put me through, the python class was a bit difficult for me because i was new to programming language, i don't have an atom of background on it, Mr Tijani our Tutor did his possible best for us, rescheduling classes after the main class just so we can understand, after spending several times watching the python class videos, i began to get the idea and understanding, i got to understand the types and uses of variables, creating a virtual environment, calling on an API using the request library, thou i still have further more to learn on python because of it's wide range, for the AI (Artificial intelligent) after Doctor Muhammad took us on the introductory part, i already know what the AI entails, using chat Gpt and other AI's in solving problems, in our 2nd class, we were shown how to open an account on an AI called huggingface and its application, soft skills classes were held, Mr Shams took us on the following soft skills class, Presentation, Attitude and Article writing and it was insightful and impactful, Mrs Cythia also took us on story telling in business and in advertising and it was interesting and impactful.

My primary goals for the program were to; - know more about software development - Enhance my research as a front end developer - To be self reliance and problem solving.

Achievements During The 6-Week program, some of my achievements are ; - The creation of a web using html and CSS - Using the python as a back-end of the web partially - I and my team, tech titans worked on a project, building a project called an email generator, i learnt and gain alot in the project like team work, communication and using time effectively - Implementing other soft skills class in my daily business and it helps.

Challenges Despite the success, I faced challenges, one of it was trying to understand python better, linking python as a back-end of the web inside the html and CSS and so many of it's features am yet to understand.

Conclusion The TIIDELab 6-week pre-fellowship program was a transformative experience that equipped me with the skills and knowledge to know more about coding . I overcame challenges and achieved my goals, setting myself up for success in future software development. I highly recommend this program to anyone seeking to start thier tech or coding journey.
