MLH Halfway!

🚀🚀🚀🚀 I am excited to have just crossed the six-week mark in the MLH Production Engineering program. This has been an incredible opportunity to learn about PE at Meta and gain new skills under the guidance of awesome industry professionals. Here is what I've learned:

📚 Improved in how to utilize bash scripting and Linux for production of a site.

💡Learned about technical interview best practices, how to make open source contributions, and how to be successful in the industry from seasoned professionals.

🐳 Went on the deep end learning about containerization and orchestration with tools like Docker and Docker Swarm.

🧪Gained better insight on the industry best practices by using test-driven development, which is commonly used as a Meta PE because ensuring that your code is well written and doesn't crash is important.

I am so grateful to have learned so much from our pod leader, Hugo, along with our Meta mentors Jacqueline, and Adhip. And best of all the support from my peers who have been so supportive! Onto the next 6, let's go!! 🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀
