Weekly Dev Journal - Episode # 13
Hello and welcome to the 13th episode of WEEKLY DEV JOURNAL 🎉
I hope you had a great week of learning and achieving your goals.
Let's get started with this episode.
Learnings
Clarity AI
This was the project that I worked on for this week, its almost done just doing some final touches.
I had an idea on my ideas list that was: to build an AI Therapist that help users especially teens/students cope with their mental health issues.
There's time in everyone's life when a person need some other person to listen to problems that the person is facing, and I think mental problems are that problems where person almost loss all control to himself.
He don't know what to do, whom to talk & how he can work against these kind of problems and issues.
So, I had the idea for this project, when maybe I was facing these kind of issues and I thought that there should be some kind of thing whom user can talk to. Without need to hesitate or any privacy concerns, so this week, I decided to pickup this idea.
I will update the link here when project is ready for everyone is use.
MyStudyMate
Previously, I worked on this project. The idea was to make AI assistant for students to make study schedules easily.
This week, I worked on it again because I need to modify it and add some more features.
For new features, first I studied Web Accessibility.
The definition of Web Accessibility according to W3C:
When websites and web tools are properly designed and coded, people with disabilities can use them. However, currently many sites and tools are developed with accessibility barriers that make them difficult or impossible for some people to use.
Basically, I wanted to improve Web Accessibility of MyStudyMate. For this, I added 2 features because I didn't have much time to spend on this project, so I added 2 features.
Colorblind theme -> Specially for colorblind people so they can easily navigate through the website
Font Size Adjustment
Although, I had many other ideas like text-to-speech feature, navigation with keyboard etc. but I didn't have much time so I added only these two features.
MLSA Beta Swag kit
So this week, I got my swag kit for my beta milestone of MLSA 🙌🍾🎅
I also recorded the video unboxing my kit for youtube but the video quality sucks so I didn't upload it 🤔
Some Random Thoughts
Few days ago, I deep dived into my research, and throughout the research, I figured out some new things for my future.
I don't know but sometimes I would have feelings like I have cracked the code, and after sometime, I would have feeling like why the f*ck I am even doing this thing.
Sometimes I think that I am at wrong place, wrong direction & I am putting myself in trouble by not working more and not experimenting more. And sometimes I think that I am at right place, I am doing good.
And I think life is all about controlling that monster, that demon inside you and keep doing what you are doing. But yeah, at some point, it become very very difficult to control that demon and think logically.

Psycho Ponderings
Some defeats are necessary to make the life the way you always wanted it to become.
Sometimes you realize there's nothing between you and your goal. Its always been you. Because the game is you vs you, Its you vs your discipline, Its you vs your mindset, Its you vs your thoughts that don't let you sleep at night.
Follow your curiosity, push yourself to do hard things and learn from failures.
"Just ****ing start. The best way to learn if something will work is to try it. Don’t waste time making grand plans or thinking, “Someday, I’ll do this.” Instead, just ****ing start and get real feedback. Go through the understand, identify, and execute loop as quickly as possible."
Don't make yourself miserable with what is to come or not to come.
That's it for this episode.
I hope you enjoyed it.
