What is the Difference between UI and UX?

User interface (UI) refers to the interactivity, look, and feel of a product screen or web page, UI designers are responsible for designing elements such as buttons, icons, color schemes, typography, and layout.

UI design, or User Interface design, is about the visual elements of an app or a website like buttons, icons, spacing, and typography.

It’s focused on the look and feel, ensuring the product is aesthetically appealing and functional. while user experience (UX) covers a user's overall experience with the product or website.

UX design, or User Experience design, goes deeper into the user’s journey with the product. It’s about creating a smooth, efficient, and enjoyable experience for the user. It involves understanding user needs, creating wire-frames and prototypes, testing designs, and continually improving the product.

While UI is about how things look, UX is about how they work and feel from the user’s perspective. Both are essential for creating a product that’s not only good to look at but also delightful to use.”

What is a user persona and why is it important in UX design?

A UX persona is a fictional character which represents your target users.

What is responsive design, and why is it important?

A responsive website has a fluid and flexible layout which adjusts according to screen size.

The importance of responsive web design is that it offers an optimized browsing experience. Basically, your website will look great and work well on a desktop (or laptop), a tablet, and a mobile phone's browser.

What is Information Architecture and its importance in UI design?

Information architecture (IA) is, like a blueprint, a visual representation of the product's infrastructure, features, and hierarchy.

The level of detail is up to the designer, so IA may also include navigation, application functions and behaviors, content, and flows.

What is the difference between group and frame in Figma?

Figma, the group feature is useful for bringing objects together and moving them as a single layer, the same as the other design tools.

A frame's bounds will be resized independently from its child elements.

Can you walk me through a project where you had to balance business goals and user needs?
