Week in Review: My Python Learning Journey and the Challenges of Creating Content

This week has been quite an experience as I continue learning Python and sharing my journey in public. Last week, I decided to make a reel for my weekly update, and it turned out to be a new and exciting experience for me. I enjoyed the concept so much that I decided to start making daily reels instead of just posts, as my previous posts weren't gaining much response.

However, after making this decision, I quickly realized how time-consuming and hectic it is to create daily reels. Being from a middle-class family, I have to shoot my videos in a single room, and I don’t have a good phone, camera, or lighting setup. My PC isn’t the best for editing videos either, which made things even more challenging. I spent a lot of time trying to find a video editor that would work well with my PC’s requirements. Although I tried various options like VSDC, Shotcut, and OpenShot, I found CapCut to be my favorite due to its user-friendly interface, transitions, and auto-caption feature.

In my attempt to use shortcut methods, I ended up messing up both my PC and phone, as they got infected with viruses. This forced me to reset my Windows, and I learned the hard way never to use pirated versions of any software. This setback disrupted my routine entirely—I spent most of my time researching, studying, shooting videos, and editing them, which led to a lot of wasted time.

By the end of the week, though, I managed to simplify all the steps involved in creating reels. I now have a better understanding of how to make them efficiently. It took time to learn, but I’m improving every day.

Looking ahead, my goal for the next week is to create a perfect and effective routine for myself and stick to it. I plan to follow this routine as a challenge throughout the month, aiming to improve in all aspects of my life.
