Hello, everyone! I'm Abhishek Kumar Sharma, a Digital Electronics Engineer, and today, I'd like to share my journey in this dynamic field. My experiences have been shaped by continuous learning, hands-on projects, and the invaluable opportunities I've had to work with cutting-edge technologies.

Educational Foundation and Professional Growth

My academic journey began at Sitamarhi Central School, where I secured a solid foundation by achieving 94% in my 10th standard. This strong academic performance paved the way for my diploma in Digital Electronics Engineering from Ambedkar Institute of Technology, where I graduated with 77%.

Currently, I'm pursuing a B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning at Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology. My academic pursuits have always been driven by a deep curiosity about how things work and a desire to solve complex problems.

Gaining Practical Experience

I had the opportunity to work with DXC Technology as an Assistant Service Delivery Coordinator from July 2022 to March 2023. During this time, I was part of the Wintel (CIBC) team, where I honed my skills in ServiceNow, Incident Management, Change Management, and more. My role involved managing and troubleshooting a wide array of technical issues, which significantly improved my problem-solving abilities and technical expertise.

Projects That Shaped My Career

Throughout my educational and professional journey, I've worked on several projects that have not only tested my skills but also expanded my knowledge in various aspects of digital electronics and automation:

  1. Automatic Hand Sanitizer Dispenser:

    • In response to the global pandemic, I developed an automatic hand sanitizer dispenser using infrared sensors. This project was crucial in minimizing contact and ensuring safety by automating the sanitizer dispensing process.
  2. Digital Multimeter:

    • I designed a digital multimeter capable of measuring voltage across an externally connected resistor. This project enhanced my understanding of electrical measurements and the calibration process, essential skills in electronics.
  3. Switch Mode Power Supply (SMPS):

    • My work on SMPS involved creating a power supply that could maintain a constant output despite fluctuations in load. This project highlighted the importance of efficient power regulation in electronic devices.
  4. Wireless Communication System:

    • I explored the field of wireless communication by working on a system for transmitting voice and data without physical connections. This project deepened my understanding of electromagnetic signals and their role in modern communication.
  5. Circuit Breaker Alarm Security System:

    • In this project, I developed a security system that could detect unauthorized crossings and transmit alerts to a remote security station. Integrating sensors with communication technology was a key challenge, and overcoming it was incredibly rewarding.
  6. Home Automation:

    • I also delved into the Internet of Things (IoT) with a home automation project. This involved creating a network of devices that could be controlled remotely, showcasing the potential of IoT in enhancing convenience and security in everyday life.

Expanding My Horizons: Recent Roles and Contributions

In addition to my technical experiences, I've actively sought out opportunities to expand my horizons and contribute to various communities. Here are some of my recent roles:

    • Contributing to blockchain projects, learning about decentralized technologies, and collaborating with a global community of developers.
  • Campus Ambassador at The FOSS Club (Jul 2024 - Present):

    • Promoting free and open-source software on campus, engaging students in FOSS activities, and organizing events to spread awareness about the importance of open-source contributions.
  • Campus Ambassador at hackarcode (Jul 2024 - Present):

    • Representing hackarcode at my college, coordinating hackathons, and encouraging students to participate in coding challenges and competitions.
  • Executive Member at Google DSC GCET (Mar 2024 - Present):

    • Involved in organizing workshops and events, focusing on web development and design, and promoting the Google Developer Student Clubs initiatives.
  • Member of Rotaract Club of Galgotias Educational Institutions (Jan 2024 - Present):

    • Engaging in social services, helping people, and contributing to community development through various initiatives and events.

In addition to my technical endeavors, I've also been active in volunteering. As a Coordinator for the Red Ribbon Club, I contributed to various social initiatives, which helped me develop leadership and organizational skills.
