Nuro, an autonomous delivery startup known for its futuristic delivery bots, is changing its approach. Instead of continuing with on-road bots like the Nuro R3, it will now focus on licensing its core autonomous driving technology to automakers and mobility companies. This strategic shift places Nuro in competition with established players such as Mobileye and Wayve, as it looks to partner with ride-hailing and delivery platforms.
Meanwhile, Ather Energy, an Indian electric scooter startup, is preparing for its IPO. The company aims to raise $530 million, targeting a valuation between $1.5 billion and $2 billion. Ather competes with fellow EV manufacturers, including Ola Electric, and is taking advantage of India's growing demand for eco-friendly transportation. The country's push toward electric vehicles, especially two-wheelers, is driven by high fuel costs and government incentives. However, intense competition presents challenges for players like Ather.
