Glimpse of my day

I woke up at 6:05 a.m. Made a tweet of “Rise and shine”. In the morning, I listened to a podcast of Ishan Sharma & Harkirat Singh, they discussed how they made lakhs per month from Upwork freelancing website and the weightage of solving leet code for placements.

I studied about:

-Artificial Intelligence

-Neural Network & it’s application

-Inspiration behind Neuralink

Do checkout, I have discussed all of them in detail below.

What is Neural Network?

Neural networks are a method in Artificial Intelligence which teaches in such a way that is inspired by the human brain. It uses a concept of Machine Learning which is called Deep Learning, uses interconnected nodes or neurons like a human brain.

This is the system where the Computers learn from their mistakes and improve constantly. These artificial neural networks used to solve complicated problems like document summarization, face recognition and many more.

Neural Networks really helps the Computer to make intelligent without the assistance of humans. They can make the relationships between the input and output data, which are complex and non-linear. That means they can understand the unstructured data and make generalized models without any training.

If I have written these two sentences like this:

1. She is excited about the upcoming trip.

2. She is looking forward to the trip.

It is able to recognize that, both of them are having the same meaning, but their tone is different.

There are so many things that can be done by the help of neural networks, like medical diagnosis by image classification, chemical compound classification. Here are some of the major applications of neural networks.

-Even the Natural Language Processing comes under the neural network. It is the ability to process the human created text and analyse it, where the neural networks help to gather the information or to find out it’s meaning from the human generated text.

-Computer Vision is the technique from which the computer extracts the data in form of images and videos. Here neural network helps in easy recognition of images and videos. Like facial recognition, identification of brand logos, self-driving cars.

-Neural Networks can also recognize the human speech despite having varying patterns of speeches, tone as well as accent. Alexa and other Virtual assistants works on this functionality.

-Recommendations Systems, neural networks can also track our apps activity, that which type of content we are liking or spending more time on it, from here it analyses our behaviour and suggests us the type oof content which we are loving the most!!

Inspiration behind Neural Networks Structure?

The structure of the human brain is the inspiration behind Neural Network. Neurons is the human brain cell, it forms a complex structure of interconnected network sends the signal to each other to help the humans to process the information. Just like the human brain, an artificial neural network is made of artificial neurons that work together to solve the problem. Artificial neurons are the software modules called node and the artificial neural networks are software programs or algorithms that use computing system to solve mathematical calculations.

Neuralink is the best example that intersects the neuroscience and artificial intelligence. It aims to develop advanced brain machine, that can connect human brains directly to computers. This technology can mimic the human brain and interpret the data.

Neuralink’s approach is to implant the probe into the brain, for communication between neurons and external devices. This will allow us to control our thoughts from the device. It will reshape our understanding in this digital age.
