Insecurities & Staying Reserved
I’m moving through a zone where I prefer staying reserved than going all the way to meet & greet people, which I used to do back in the college time. I feel a bit vulnerable at this point, a bit insecure🤔 and less confident about myself.
It might sound awkward, but I never want my inner circle to believe in anything superficial, rather they should know my true-self as much as possible. It regularly reminds us, we're not good enough and need to level up🔝.
Starting something or being a founder is NOT any achievement in any sense. It's NOT a Qualification at all.
Rather, we’re taking an opportunity cost🤷♂️ at life to see if we could make some money in a way where we've a bit more control over our Professional Life and Schedule.
So, whatever things that’s reflected on LinkedIn or elsewhere, consider them just our tiny efforts to do something, like everyone else in our friend circle is doing in their workplaces.
I had spent a large chunk of my life energies to solve customer’s concerns and team’s concerns, so that I had forgotten that I do have a life as well and that needs constant📈 growth, be it in the level of skill or mental and Physical grit.
So, I consider this my top priority at this point to focus on my growth, because then only we could contribute, be it in the capacity of an Employer or an Employee. It starts with ourselves only!
I’m looking forward to catching up my batchmates at Namma Bengaluru, a term that’s used more often on the internet! I’ve heard good stories about this city starting from common interests of good ☀️weather to being the Silicon Valley of India.
I’ve seen many friends, colleagues and relatives rushing to this city in regular intervals, in search of work and fortunes. I do question myself, like am I missing out something!
Over the time I’ve realized, the average mind and the society convince us to impress others. While maturity is to realize, neither anybody is interested in our progress nor does anyone have the time to look at us for that matter.
We just assume we’ve to do something to catch others' attention and we do all sorts of crazy🌀 things for that! That’s the last of the last things to be given a fuck at all!
Few good friends have given me the space to be myself, by listening to me, my awkward comments, silly stories & things here and there. That relaxes me to dial📞 their numbers & share about my life’s happenings.
