Commitment Post - Top Rank
This will be short.
If I were to count the number of times I made up my mind to do something but then either failed to start, or otherwise failed to see it through to the end, even after starting, I doubt there’d be enough numbers to quantify that.
This time will be different. I hope… 😅.
If there’s one attribute that I wish I could have this very instant, it’d be the ability to be 100% consistent in all endeavors. But I guess it takes a conscious continuous effort also.
Which is for the next few months, from now up until the year ends, I’m holding myself accountable to be consistent with the commitment I’m making now.
Becoming an open-source contributor to the appwrite (https://github.com/appwrite/appwrite) project. Why appwrite, long answer, I guess that’s for another blog post. Short answer, it’s a project I’ve been following for a while and even planned on building some stuff with, but never got around to doing
On my part, I guess this isn’t a small commitment, but then again, is anything ever really “small”?
During this period, I will also be committing towards making a conscious effort to document my progress, as well as write about other topics/stuff that I find interesting and also align with this commitment.
Well then, until the next post!
