Dart, Flutter, AI And the Future of Work
Today I woke up at 7:10 am, made a tweet of “Rise and shine”. I had online classes today, just started my day with morning lectures, then I listened a podcast and today.
I read about Flutter & Dart programming language/frameworks.
Here are some of the highlights from my today’s learning about Flutter:
Flutter is also one open-source framework, introduced by Google which is used to build cross-platform apps, that means by using a single code base we can build apps for different operating system like Android, iOS, macOS.
The things which make it special are that it’s fast, which means it’s code can be compiled to Intel machine code, as well as JavaScript. It also has a tool of automated testing and other task to build high-quality apps. We can share our Dart code between the mobile and web apps. As it’s a cross-platform language, we can easily test our app in multiple Operating Systems.
Here are some of the famous organizations which have used Flutter for building their apps:
-Alibaba
-eBay
-Philips Hue
-ByteDance
-Dream11
-The New York Times
It is an open-source programming language used to develop mobile and web applications, as well as server and desktop applications. It is known for being easier to learn and understand, mainly it is used with the Flutter frameworks.
There’s one library created by a software engineer, named ml_algo, and now it’s part of the ecosystem. Dart 3.3 includes a new model for interoperating with JavaScript libraries, and a new set of APIs for interacting with JavaScript. It also includes a new model for representing JavaScript types in Dart using extension types.
There’s one question which always comes to my mind after hearing Artificial Intelligence.
Emerging technologies are making our work so efficient, comfortable and easier, tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude and many more are making our work so easier by writing code for the developers, giving the scripts just in minutes and seconds for creators and writers, AI is getting smarter every day. AI can automate the task and can also change the way we work. People are trying to make their work automated as much as possible, If AI is able to perform all the tasks then the question is :
What will be the need of human beings, will the jobs be gone or replaced by AI?
AI will change jobs but not completely replace them. Some tasks, especially repetitive ones, may be automated, leading to fewer jobs in those areas. AI will also create new jobs that require human skills like creativity, problem-solving, and emotional intelligence.
Many roles will evolve, with humans working alongside AI to enhance productivity. Instead of fearing job loss, it's important to focus on adapting and learning new skills that complement AI technology.
My today’s learning is, don’t just make things complex in your mind, it really makes any of the task more complex than it really is. Try to just do things in Simplified Way. This will save time and energy as well!
