What is a Usability Test Plan?
A usability test plan is a document that outlines the strategy for evaluating how easily and effectively real users can interact with a product or feature. It is designed to ensure the product meets user needs and is easy to use. It has many components like Objectives, Test Participants, Success Criteria etc.
Why create a usability test plan?
It provides a structured approach to testing, ensuring the testing process is systematic and that the results are reliable. It also helps identify issues in the product that need to be fixed before a wider release.
A good usability test plan will give you clear insights into whether users can achieve their goals using your product, and where improvements are needed.

1. Test Objectives: The two features for this test plan is to know how friendly the App is to the Farmers first and then, the General public know as “buyers” or “ Consumers”
Objective 1: Evaluate the ease of use and understanding of the "Connect Farmers with Buyers" feature.
Objective 2: Test the usability and clarity of the "Access Loans, Grants, and Incentives" information space.
2. Key Features to Test are;
A). Connect Farmers with Buyers:
How easily can farmers navigate and post produce for sale?
Can buyers find produce efficiently and connect with farmers?
B). Access Loans, Grants, and Incentives:
Can users locate relevant financial information?
Are the steps to apply for loans or grants clear?
3. Participants: The participants are those set of people that are to use the product and they are called The Target Group.
Target Group: Farmers and buyers (for the first feature), farmers seeking financial aid or grants (for the second feature).
Number of Participants: 5–7 users for each feature, covering a diverse demographic (tech-savvy and non-tech-savvy users).
4. Tasks: The participants are to engage with the use of the MVP. They are to complete the log in to the App and then, look for buyers or farmers for the farm crops as well as search through for relevant loans, grants or incentives un-assisted.
For each feature, create simple tasks that reflect real user goals:

Task 2: A buyer searches for specific produce and contacts the farmer.
Access Loans, Grants, and Incentives:
Task 1: A farmer searches for available loans.
Task 2: A farmer attempts to apply for a grant.
5. Metrics: These are indicators for the successful completion of the task by the participants. They are as follows;

Time on Task: How long did it take to complete the task? whats it seamlessly done under 5minutes, ten minutes or even two minutes.
Error Rate: Were there any mistakes or confusion while completing the task? Is the grammar used confusing or too big? Were they able to comprehend what each buttons meant without consulting Anyone else?
Satisfaction Rating: Ask participants to rate their satisfaction (1-5) after completing each task with 1 representing low and 5 meaning good or high
6. Data Collection: Usability test plan cannot be completed without data gathering. This serve as feedback and the voice of the target audience. The methods of data collection to be used for this plan are written below;

Availability and easy access to Loans, Grants, and Incentives: Success if 80% of users can find and begin a loan/grant application process within 5 minutes, with a satisfaction rating of at least 4/5.
