About the week 2 course

In Week 2 of the cohort, we needed to complete the course “Set Up an App Dev Environment on Google Cloud”, where we learnt how to build and connect storage-centric cloud infrastructure, using the basic capabilities of the of the following technologies: Cloud Storage, Identity and Access Management, Cloud Functions, and Pub/Sub.

So here, we were expected to solve labs revolving around Cloud Storage, IAM, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, and then finally a challenge lab, which tested all the previous concepts learnt.

Summary and badge of completion

So by following this course, I learnt important concepts about Storage (buckets), IAM, Monitoring and Logging, Cloud Run Functions, Pub/Sub pattern, and finally got a chance to implement these learnings in the challenge lab. On successful completion of this course, got awarded with this badge.
