Meeting the Group
For this first group project I was placed into group 2, Java Group. My first impression of the team is that they are very outgoing and open to communicating, which is a relief for this assignment. We initially began communicating on teams and had set a date and time for meeting. Unfortunately not all of us were able to attend. This was due, I believe, to the lack of notifications from the app. A few of us agreed to talk on Sunday using the app but I had not seen a time picked until after I arrived home. I missed our meeting as I was traveling back to Chicago from my hometown and never received a notification of the set time.
After this rocky start we decided to pivot and work through a group message for more important issues. So far I find it to be a better way to organize and have everyone up to date with the situation. We have chosen a group lead and divided up responsibilities to the rest of the team. I chose the role of Wiki writer. We are moving much smoother now and hopefully for the rest of the project.
