How to run recurring virtual meetings efficiently

Start with a checkin question for connection (10% of the meeting length)
Capture decisions made
Capture open action items
- and check in on open ones every time, otherwise they get lost/forgotten due to poor personal execution
Align on discussion topics
All participants braindump all the discussion topics they want to cover
Quickly vote, everybody gets 3 votes to vote for the 3 discussion topics they think we really need to cover this time
Meeting host responsible for final order based on vote & their taste
Keep track of outstanding discussion topics from last time that werenโt covered
