Web Hosting : This feature PythonAnywhere allows users to host their Python web applications. It supports web frameworks like Django, Flask, and web2py.
Cloud-Based Python Execution : This feature PythonAnywhere allows the user to run their python code in the cloud environment without installing any python or python extension and setup the local environment to their machine.
Scheduled Tasks : Scheduled tasks provide the ability to run your code periodically at a set time.

PythonAnywhere is much more beginner-friendly than AWS or Heroku because unlike AWS or Heroku, PythonAnywhere is only focusing to python environment unlike AWS who have a tons of services such as cloud hosting, api integration and many more. AWS can be alternative because it can make the application scalable to big number of users but it is not beginner-friendly to setup and Heruko can also be an alternative because it is also based on AWS but it is much simplier than AWS and just provide a limited number of services than AWS but still not beginner-friendly to use or setup unlike PythonAnywhere.

I therefore conclude that PythonAnywhere can use to run Python programs in the cloud and also write your programs in web-based editor or run a console session and PythonAnywhere is easy to use and easy to setup than with the likes of AWS or Heroku and PythonAnywhere can use Flask and Django for web frameworks and then hosting a web application in PythonAnywhere can be also free.
