For Windows, macOS, and Linux, Sublime Text is a text and source code editor. Numerous programming languages and markup are natively supported. Plugins, which are typically produced by the community and updated under a free software license, allow users to personalize and expand its capabilities. A Python API is built into Sublime Text to aid with plugins.

With the editor's basic interface, programmers may access features like adjustable syntax highlighting, code folding, support for regular expressions in search and replace, a terminal output window, and more. There is a trial version available for free, despite the software being proprietary. With Sublime Text, you can alter the program's text size and color scheme. Furthermore, you can choose which toolbars and tabs to display and hide. There is a search function for both files and full texts.

  • Rendering on GPU

On Linux, Mac, and Windows, Sublime Text can now render the UI using your GPU. This uses less power than previously and produces a fluid user interface at up to 8K resolution.

  • ARM64 Linux and Apple Silicon

Apple silicon processors are now natively supported by Sublime Text for Mac. There are additional ARM64 Linux variants available for gadgets such as the Raspberry Pi.

  • Tab with Multiple Selections

With integrated commands and support for split views throughout the UI, the File tab has been enhanced to make splitting views simple. Code navigation is now more straightforward and easy than ever thanks to changes made to the sidebar, tab bar, Goto Anything, Gato Definition, auto completion, and other features.
