But did you know there are different roles you can take on in the open-source community?

1. Campus Ambassador ๐ŸŒ

As a Campus Ambassador, you are the face of the program at your school or college! Your main responsibilities include spreading the word about open source, organizing events, and encouraging your peers to get involved. This role is perfect for outgoing individuals who love networking and building communities.

2. Contributor ๐Ÿ’ป

In this role, youโ€™ll write code, fix bugs, design features, or create documentation. Your contributions will directly help improve the project.

3. Project Admin ๐Ÿš€

Project Admins are the leaders of open-source projects. They make important decisions, manage tasks, and ensure everything runs smoothly. If enjoy leading teams, this role is for you.

4. Mentor ๐Ÿง‘โ€๐Ÿซ

Mentors play a vital role in the open-source community by helping others grow. They guide new contributors, answer questions, and offer support. If you have a passion for teaching and want to help others succeed, becoming a mentor can be a rewarding experience.
