What is Holographic Robot?

Have you heard of holograms?
What does "hologram" mean, and what is a robotic hologram?
The literal meaning of the word "hologram" comes from the Greek words "holos," meaning "whole" or "complete," and "gramma," meaning "writing" or "drawing."
Thus, the literal meaning of a hologram is "complete picture" or "complete writing," indicating that a hologram represents a full record of the visual information about an object, including depth and three-dimensionality.
A hologram is an imaging technology that relies on recording and using light to create a three-dimensional (3D) image. This is achieved by recording the wave pattern of the light reflected from an object and reconstructing it so that it appears as though it exists in space. Holographic images provide depth and perspective, making the image appear realistic, even when viewed from different angles.
A hologram can be integrated with a robot to create a 3D virtual reality, as shown in the video below.
To equip the hologram-based robot with sensors, we need a robotic structure, and from this point, a new model emerged known as the "Holography Robot."
The Holography Robot is a robotic system equipped with hologram display capabilities. It consists of a robotic structure with sensors, actuators, and the ability to interact with its environment. The robot includes hologram display technology to project three-dimensional holographic images. The display system produces realistic and interactive holographic images, which can include virtual objects or characters. These holographic elements can respond to user commands, gestures, or other forms of input. For example, the robot might detect a user’s hand movement and create a corresponding holographic object or provide relevant information through holographic displays.
The holography robot is connected to ChatGPT via API, allowing the robot to voice everything generated by ChatGPT. It can convert voice to text and then use the text generated by ChatGPT to produce voice responses.
The applications of the holography robot are vast. It can act as an assistant providing information and guidance or serve as interactive entertainment. It can also be used in educational environments to present complex topics through realistic visual representations.
Since the project is implemented in Japan, my conversation with the robot in the video is in Japanese, using simple phrases such as "Good evening."
The project showcased in the video was presented at the Tokyo Technology and Science Exhibition, and the video is merely a demonstration to give you an idea of where we are headed in the field of artificial intelligence.
