In the book “One Small Step Can Change Your Life,” the author describes stress and depression as types of fear. Let me give you a friendly little overview.

People today experience more anxiety, depression, and mental health challenges than before. This is because we're dealing with changes and instability. When we face more uncertain situations, it's natural to feel a bit more fearful. This fear can lead to feelings of anxiety and depression.

Most adults handle their lives pretty well until a type of fear pops up. When we set our expectations too high, we might start feeling anxious about whether we can meet them or not. When we have too much work, it can feel like we're always on the clock, leading to stress. When we fail at something, we might feel a bit down and not want to do anything, which is what we call depression. Basically, it's all about being afraid of something. This is just fear wearing a different mask.

To overcome fear and achieve your goals, the author suggests that Kaizen is the way to go.

No idea about Kaizen? Don’t worry. Start by asking yourself small questions. Join me in the next chapter as we explore small questions.
