As a seasoned QA professional who began their journey back in March 2020, I've accumulated a wealth of knowledge that I'm eager to share. By December 2023, I had been in the field for 3 years and 9 months, and it was then that I started mentoring others in the QA community. Now, with almost 4 years and 9 months under my belt, I've been reflecting on my experiences and the insights I've gained from over 40 calls with QA professionals and aspirants worldwide.

The Common Challenge: Landing the Next QA Job

The majority of my mentees, about 80% or more, sought advice on how to secure their next job in QA. Whether they were trying to break into the field or leave an unsatisfactory position, the struggle was real. Recognizing this, I decided to consolidate my job hunting strategies into a resource that could guide others.

Each chapter not only explains the concepts but also provides actionable homework to help readers apply these strategies effectively.

Initially, I considered turning the playbook into a high-ticket coaching service, but I realized I needed to build more evidence of my expertise. Now, I'm focused on creating a course that teaches the skills recommended in the playbook.
