The Oracle OCI Network Visualizer provides an interactive, graphical view of network resources within your Oracle Cloud Infrastructure environment, helping you visualize and understand connections, dependencies, and configurations across Virtual Cloud Networks (VCNs), subnets, gateways, and security settings.

I thought I’d quickly blog this as it was described to me by someone as the best thing on the WHOLE of OCI - you know who you are 😉- so I gave it a go and I agree, its not bad.

In OCI, click on Hamburger > Networking > Network Visualizer

It will instantly draw your Regional Map i.e Germany Central in my case

Clicking on a VCN gives you a Resource Summary

This then gives you 2 resource maps

The Routing Map looks like this

The Security Map looks like this

Useful?… Yes.

The best thing on the WHOLE of OCI?… Maybe ;-)

ENJOY!
