How secure is your wallet?

This is the first time am doing an article so don’t act a judge, be polite to my new ink. If you are here am sure you are looking for tips and way to keep yourself/assets safe within the terrible crypto land. Walk with me and I’ll share what I know.

Much has been written on ways to stay safe in crypto but it looks like we need to repeat it several times for the newbies, and the og’s as well because the bad guys don’t discriminate on who to hit or not.

Is your PK key private or public?
If you full pk/seed phrase is stored digitally within your devices storage, you might want to take off some few dollars from it to buy yourself a burger because the bad guys are a second s way from making your life way miserable. There’s a better way to keep them waiting and working for nothing, alter the sequence of your seed phrase while plucking a few words off that list. Just be sure not to brick your brain and you end up forgetting what word belonged where.

For a pk, I suggested this a few days. Take your year of birth, 01/02/1970, split it into individual numbers 01,02,19,7 and pluck the corresponding characters in your pk.

eg (1)M(2)FwwDQ(7)YJKoZIhvcNAQ(19)EBBQADSwAwSAJBAIaVylPJT1REhGp9gOvvjX
your new pk should now look like this
wwDQJKoZIhvcNAQBBQADSwAwSAJBAIaVylPJT1REhGp9gOvvjX
don’t make a guess of how many years it’ll take to compute it back incase the evil gets hold of the ‘new' sphrase, a wild guess, it’ll take them forever.

The plucked words can now be stored either as a username of your new twitter account/email/nickname etc.

Assumptions
1. You don’t get to brick your brain and forget dob
2. You don’t share this post, your dob and your new pk with your friends
3. You don’t blame me for penning down my thoughts.

That bring us to the end of my first post, hopeful in the new feature I’ll master the art of writing well detailed, illustrated and thought of tutorials and that you my reader will be here for the longest.

Drop your comments below and let’s keep the conversation going.
