Building Password Garage: My Journey in Creating a Password Manager

Ever tried to remember a password like x8&(1047nhfnk1jfHGka* ? Yeah, me neither. Let's be real, by the time I manage to memorise something like that, I'd probably be retired. And using the same password for everything or sticking to "password123" isn't exactly a brilliant move for keeping our accounts safe.

To tackle this never-ending struggle, I decided to build my very own password manager, creatively named Password Garage. Now, I know there are a gazillion password managers out there, but where's the fun in that? We programmers have this irresistible urge to reinvent the wheel, whether it's a calculator that subtracts when you hit the plus sign or a space rocket. We just can't help ourselves.

In this blog series, I'll be sharing my wild ride of creating Password Garage. Full disclosure: the name took me a whole 23 seconds to come up with. Mark your calendars, because every Saturday night at 9 PM I.S.T, I'll be posting updates on my progress. It's going to be a journey, and I promise to share all the highs, lows, and maybe a few "what was I thinking?" moments along the way.

Why Password Security Matters

Password security is crucial in today's digital age. Using a strong password manager like Password Garage can significantly enhance your online security.

My Development Process

I'll dive into the technical aspects, challenges, and breakthroughs I encounter each week while developing Password Garage. From coding quirks to feature roll outs, you'll get an inside look at my development process.

That's it for now! Stay tuned, and thanks for reading. Catch you next week with some (hopefully) exciting updates!
