First time

Today, it's the day I write the first article here. I'm a beginner to this world but I hope to be great and excel. I have pursed diploma in civil engineering but with few job opportunities in that field I decided to cross over and have an experience into the DEV world. I cannot lie, it's amazing to be here but also challenging to manoeuvre.

Having to learn things on my own using docs and youTube videos can be challenging as well confusing a times. I have ended up re-doing things over and over again and a times even felt like giving up and wishing I had someone to walk me through and guide me along the way.

I'm looking forward to gain skills in both frontend and backend. I started four months ago and now I'm better off than I started but still I feel like I need to do more but in the right direction. I've done HTML, CSS and now JavaScript. Still looking forward to try out fronted frameworks as well as dive into backend to.

My aim is that when I'm done, I want to try and infuse civil engineering with web development and solve some of the issues I face while practising and also come up with solutions.
