Memeingful Tokens: Amolyus, Reinventing NFTs

Talers, LFG, Rockets, TokenForce… and now Odyssey. As Alephium transforms the blockchain as we know it, emerging players like Amolyus are stepping forward, bringing fresh ideas and innovations. Tracing the Origins

To understand the evolution of Amolyus and its role in redefining this space, we first need to trace its origins.

1. From Talers to Treasury. Talers is a collection of 5,000 pixel art PFP characters created procedurally. The project has always involved the community, essential for its success. As the largest NFT community on Alephium, Talers pioneered community-driven decision-making, empowering members to shape the ecosystem. The community Treasury was established early, with decisions made by voting, like LFG liquidity and coin purchases. Its goal is to grow assets while supporting Amolyus members, funded by Talers' secondary sales and team donations.

   The Treasury’s current holdings are primarily focused on supporting $LFG, including:

   • 685 ALPH paired with 145,000 LFG in the ALPH-LFG pool

   • 85 AYIN paired with 67,000 LFG in the AYIN-LFG pool

     Note: All liquidity provided to LFG is locked until the year 2999, making it effectively immovable—permanently.

Additional holdings, as decided by community votes, include:

• Staking of ALPH-WBTC, ALPH-AYIN, and ALPH-WETH in AYIN pools.

• Additional holdings include XAYIN, $TOP, $NGU, $BREAD, $WANG, $ALPH, and $LFG

2. The Launch of the Rockets. Rockets were the first phase of the $LFG launch, featuring 360 rockets flying through cyberspace. This collection sold out in 45 minutes, becoming one of the fastest-selling NFT collections on Alephium. There are 11 rocket types, each with a different fuel tank size, which determines the LFG amount in the airdrop. Though the LFG token has been airdropped, the fuel tank will boost voting power when the DAO starts.

3. The creation of TokenForce, our Twitter Bot. TokenForce is our Twitter bot, now in version v0.01. It will improve over time and offers features like:

   • Informing users about polls on Discord or Telegram.

   • Providing updates on Amolyus and new products.

   • Supporting projects launching collections on our platform.

   • Hosting giveaways and treasure hunts.

The challenge in this question lies in describing it without revealing too much, as part of its intrigue is in its discovery. Imagine an NFT that reflects its current state—its status changes, evolving, guided by information drawn directly from the Alephium blockchain

Mow: follow up question- just out of curiosity, how large is your team? It seems like you have a highly skilled visual team and an exceptional Ralph coder onboard. Also, could you share some insights into the inspiration behind this project? What is your "end-game" vision?

Amolyus: At Amolyus, we are a mix of visual artists and creative coders, working to push what is possible. Before venturing into blockchain, we collaborated with prominent groups in our industries. Now, this space offers a new kind of freedom—an opportunity to experiment and redefine the creative process. NFTs and FTs are a new medium, especially with the new paradigms that Alephium offers for those. They allow us to create within boundaries that we often set ourselves.

The end-goal is not fixed. It evolves as we do. Right now, it is about building tools for communities, crafting collectibles, and exploring experimental designs. But the focus is always the same: creating something meaningful, pushing the limits of what this medium can offer.

What TF is PylorOS?

Derived from the Greek word for 'gatekeeper,' PylorOS is the new Discord bot launching with the Odyssey collection. It lets users register wallets, verify holdings, and check balances with simple commands. The bot works in Discord channels and direct messages. In the future, pylorOS will play a key role in the DAO, aiding in proposals and voting for the Amolyus project.
