Greetings readers!!

This is HackUnited speaking,and we have a great news! and that is the V4 of United Hacks Hackathon that is planned for everyone above the legal age of majority in country of residence, dated Jan 17 to 19, 2025.

Let's first know what is a hackathon?

A hackathon is a tech-based event where we team up with cool like-minded people to bring up something cool, it can be a fun project, a new innovation, or an improved version of already deployed ideas, it doesn't have to be full-fledged, but something that can be demonstrated, a prototype :)

Wait, wait, I'm completely new, can I participate?

Of course you can!, everyone's once was a beginner and this hackathon is completely beginner friendly, you will also be able to get help from mentors/other fellow hackers.

Wait, I'm overwhelmed, how do I reach out for help?

That's easy, you can join the discord server here: https://discord.com/invite/hackunited

Also, also, also, there are two themes:

Main theme will be announced during the opening ceremony on 17 Jan, and the another theme is “general” where you can explore the diverse tracks to create something cool!

Our main communication platform is discord server, where you can connect with your fellow teammates and create something cool! 🔥

Also, you would need the following to submit:

public github url/an alternative url where your code will be hosted.
demo video of the project (2-5 minutes).
written explaination of the project (via devpost).
you can also submit a link to your project to try it out (optional, maybe like a vercel or a netlify link).

Make sure you remember these to not get disqualified:

Your submission MUST BE A NEW PROJECT!! you can't just edit or submit an old project, everything, each and every single word of the code should be written during the given time frame.
you can't cross-submit to other hackathons.
you can only work on one project with one team during this hackathon.

The mantra to enjoy hackathons is not to force yourself to win or something, but rather it's to enjoy and build the best thing out there (I mean, we can try, right?)! ✨
