In 2022, I was honored to win a photography competition at the National Memorial Arboretum, celebrating its beauty and storytelling through images. My photograph impressed judge Gerard Hobson, a renowned wildlife artist, and highlighted the arboretum's serene landscapes and significance. This achievement reaffirmed my passion for photography and sharing meaningful stories.

Back in 2022, I was honoured to be named one of the winners in a photography competition held at the National Memorial Arboretum. This incredible event celebrated the beauty of this meaningful space and the art of storytelling through photography. Reflecting on it now, I feel just as proud as I did then!

The competition highlighted the arboretum’s powerful blend of natural beauty and remembrance. My entry aimed to capture a moment that spoke to both its serene landscapes and its deeper significance. I was thrilled when Gerard Hobson, the judge and an acclaimed wildlife artist and printmaker, praised my photograph. He described it as "a stunning image that perfectly encapsulates the essence of the arboretum," which was such an honour to hear from someone so accomplished in the art world.

Winning this competition reaffirmed my love for photography, especially the art of capturing spaces that resonate emotionally. It’s a reminder of how much I enjoy using my camera to connect with others and share meaningful stories.

This achievement remains a cherished part of my journey, and I’m excited to continue growing as a photographer.
