2024 Wrapped

2024 was the year I decided to hit “Record” on my journey, not just “Play.” Sure, I didn’t accomplish every goal I set, but I found the courage to start, experiment, iterate—and that’s what mattered.

Publishing Power
This year, I turned a fresh domain into my personal tech megaphone:

  • 18 blog posts published on blog.nicanor.me
Each post was another step in refining my voice and sharing insights with the world.

Building the Future
My project stack grew from zero to hero, fueled by curious tinkering and late-night commits:

  • LP: From a simple todo list to an advanced task management tool

  • Centi: A budgeting and financial goal-tracking

  • js-messaging

  • TV Remote Control: Remote interactions, reinvented in JavaScript.

  • nicanor-autocomplete

  • Software Engineering Book Summaries: Curating wisdom from pages into bite-sized insight.

Open Source Sparks
During the Oktoberfest of code, I joined forces with the open-source community:

  • Contributed to react-smart-utils, shaping a tool that helps other developers build smarter, and faster.

Content Creation
I took a wild leap with a 100-day content creation challenge on social media. The result? A fire hose of ideas, feedback loops, and renewed inspiration heading into 2025.

Lights, Camera, Action!
Dipped my toes into video tutorials and discovered I needed some production basics. But the seed’s been planted—2025 might just see me flexing those video editing muscles.

Supercharged Skills
Three months spent deep in Frontend Masters content honed my front-end chops, preparing me for the next level of web wizardry.

What’s Next?
2024 was the blueprint stage—the rough sketches before the masterpiece. Now I’m standing at the threshold of 2025 with a toolkit of lessons learned, an arsenal of published content, and a thirst to build more, teach more, and create more.

Here’s to the grind, the growth, and the code commits that made 2024 extraordinary.
