UTXO Stack Proposes Hybrid Network to Boost Lightning Network Liquidity
UTXO Stack has unveiled its whitepaper outlining a hybrid infrastructure combining the Bitcoin Lightning Network (LN) and Fiber Network (on Nervos Network) to address LN's liquidity shortages, onboarding barriers, and lack of stablecoin support.
The plan introduces stablecoins into LN, incentivizes liquidity via mining campaigns, and transitions routing nodes to generate income from transaction fees, aiming to strengthen LN's scalability and drive mass cryptocurrency adoption.

Bitcoin Core: Mandatory Inclusion of Old Transactions to Combat Mining Centralization and MEVil
Bitcoin Core developer Ethan Heilman has proposed a new rule requiring miners to include at least 0.1% of the oldest transactions in their blocks, even if these have low fees. This mechanism seeks to prevent mining centralization and censorship while offering a countermeasure against MEVil (centralizing MEV).
Mostro: No-KYC, P2P Bitcoin Exchange on Nostr
Mostro implements advanced key management, allowing users to rotate keys for each Bitcoin transaction. It also adopts NIP-69, standardizing all P2P orders on Nostr. This creates a larger liquidity pool, improving transaction accessibility.
