Last year marked a milestone in my photography journey with 13 of my photos featured on Pexels. These images, taken in various UK locations like Birmingham, Cornwall, Liverpool, and Leamington Spa, each tell a unique story. Highlighted moments include capturing the bright yellow taxi in Birmingham, the scenic landscapes of Cornwall, and the architectural beauty of the Royal Liver Building. Thank you for your support, and I look forward to sharing more in 2025!
Last year was a remarkable one for my photography journey, with 13 of my photos featured on Pexels! Each of these images tells a unique story, and I’m thrilled to share them with you.
The Featured Images
This one is one of my favourites. It was the first photo to ever get featured. I took this photo back in 2023 on a trip to Birmingham with a Nikon 1 J5. I thought that the bright yellow taxi in front of modern grey buildings really stood out.
This one was taken in Falmouth, when I went to Cornwall this year. With the bright sun shining on the buoy, it created an interesting reflection in the seawater.
This one was taken on the same trip to Cornwall in the Lizard, which is the most southerly point in the UK.
I captured this on the final day of my Cornwall trip in the beautiful town of Mousehole.
With almost 20,000 views, this is my most viewed photo! Taken in Liverpool with my phone, it shows the amazing architecture of the Royal Liver Building on a sunny day.
I took this photo on my first trip with the Canon EOS 2000D and 18-55mm kit lens. Here, I managed to capture a squirrel resting on a tree in the beautiful Jephson Gardens in Leamington Spa.
This was also captured in Jephson Gardens, but as the weather became a bit more gloomy. I love how only half of the clock tower is lit.
This one was taken at the annual tractor rally at the Beech House Pumpkin Farm. I noticed this little flag on the back of a tractor and had to take a photo of it.
I took this photo at the new 1960s street at the Black Country Living Museum.
And these ones were taken at the Glass Quarter in Stourbridge.
That wraps up all of my featured uploads for 2024!
Thank you to everyone who has supported my work and helped make this milestone possible. Here’s to more in 2025!
