Maker Journal December 2024

December is truly a festive month for me. I travelled overseas in early December, and upon my return, I was busy with the kids' year-end activities. Just when I could finally breathe, Christmas and New Year were approaching. Despite the short working period in December, I accomplished several projects.
I migrated my last site, Adalomatic, from PoryHQ to Brizy. I had supported the PoryHQ project for a long time, but it was time to switch since I no longer needed its features; all I needed was a landing page for my Adalo Components.
I moved my agency, VisualDev.Studio, to the new VisualDevStudio.com domain and updated the site content to highlight some of my new projects.
I developed a side panel Chrome extension that loads the FilamentPHP site. My goal is to make dashboard stats easily accessible from the browser's side panel. The extension is complete but needs a few minor tweaks before I can release it.
I've been learning how to build an open-source plugin for FilamentPHP. This plugin will feature a table column and an infolist field that displays a QR code.
Wow, even though I thought December was too short, after writing it all down, I've realized that I accomplished quite a lot! It's been a productive time amid all the festive events.
