Managing Your Conversation History
Copilot automatically saves your conversations. This allows you to revisit previous chats and continue where you left off. For example, if you ask Copilot to plan a trip and later close the window, you can still find your itinerary in the conversation history.
You can manage this history in two ways:
1. Delete Specific Conversations
Click the Time Machine icon on the Copilot homepage.
Find the conversation you want to remove.
Click Delete to erase it.
2. Delete All Conversations
Your method will depend on your sign-in type:
✔ Microsoft Account Users: You can only delete individual conversations.
✔ Work or School Accounts: Your organization may have different policies. Contact your IT team for details.

✔ Measures are in place to prevent unintentional repetition – This protects user privacy.
If you want more control, you can manage how your interactions contribute to AI learning:
Go to Settings → Privacy → Model Training.
Choose whether your chats are used to improve Copilot.
Even if you opt out, Microsoft may still use anonymous data for system improvements, as stated in their Privacy Policy.
