After jogging or exercising, it's important to give your body the rest it deserves. Consider taking this time to relax with some gentle bed stretches, such as the cobra, cat-cow, glute bridge and spinal stretches. Following this, a breathing exercise can be quite beneficial, and a brief 10-minute nap can rejuvenate your entire body. You will feel so much power after this simple yet effective nap.

Benefits:

  • Memory magic: Short naps enhance memory consolidation and learning, as shown in sleep research (Mednick et al., 2003).

  • Instant recharge: A 20-minute nap can boost alertness and performance, lowering reaction times (Lovato & Lack, 2010).

  • Stress reset: Even a brief snooze can lower stress hormones and improve mood, according to sleep science (Milner & Cote, 2009).

"Sleep is the best meditation."
