Discover Cardano's Hidden Gems: ADAM's VIP Stake Pools

Introduction
Want to support the Cardano network's decentralization and find pools that are truly committed to the community? Then you're in the right place! ADAM's VIP Stake Pool feature is designed to help you discover and track a select group of Cardano pools that we believe are doing it right. We call them VIPs because they're impactful, prioritize the long-term health of the Cardano ecosystem and are dedicated to maintain a single pool.
Why VIP Pools? (Decentralization Matters!)
In the Cardano world, staking your Cardano's native cryptocurrency named ADA helps secure the network and earns you rewards. But did you know that where you stake matters? Think of it like this: a few massive pools, often run by big crypto exchanges like Binance or Coinbase, want to control a large portion of the network's stake. This can lead to centralization, which weakens Cardano's core principles.
Our VIP pools are different. They're operated by dedicated individuals or small teams – Single Pool Operators (SPOs) – who are passionate about Cardano as blockchain and actively contribute to its growth. By delegating to these pools, you:
Promote Decentralization: Help distribute stake across the network, making Cardano more resilient and secure.
Support Dedicated Operators: Back individuals who are deeply invested in the Cardano community and its future.
Support SPO tools: Many SPOs are creating and maintaining essential Cardano tools used across the network.
Potentially Earn Great Rewards: These pools are incentivized to perform well and attract delegators.
Learn and Grow with Cardano: Most SPOs are active in the community, offering valuable insights and support.
Introducing ADAM's VIP Pools:
ADAM makes it easy to find and follow these exceptional pools. Our dedicated VIP pool screen is a curated selection of SPOs that meet one or more of our criteria:
Cardano Engagement: Active participation in the Cardano community, sharing knowledge and contributing to its development.
Reliability and Decentralization Focus: Commitment to maintaining a single pool (security updates, monitoring and system maintenance) and avoiding the concentration of stake.
Governance Participation: As a self-governing blockchain, Cardano relies on Delegated Representatives (DREPs) to enable widespread participation in decision-making. Many SPOs are also stepping into this role.
Your Journey to a VIP Pool:
1. Explore the VIP Pool Screen
Open ADAM app and navigate to the VIP pool section. You'll find a list of handpicked pools. Tap on a pool to see more detailed information, including:
Stake pool data (Name, Ticker, Description, Website)
Stake pool metrics data (Registration Date, Lifetime Blocks, Epoch Blocks, Saturation, Fee and more)
2. Calculate Potential ROI
Tap on "calculate" to open the ROI calculator view. Add your delegation amount, adjust the period, the potential ADA price outlook and tap "calculate" The ROI calculator estimates your potential rewards based on the pool's past performance and your delegation amount. Remember, past performance is not indicative of future results.
3. Delegate with Confidence
Once you've found a pool you like, you can delegate your ADA using a Cardano Wallet of your choice. (We recommend Begin Wallet or Tokeo Wallet to do so).
4. Pin Your Favorite Pool to Your Home Screen
This is where ADAM really shines. Using our widget feature, you can pin your chosen VIP pool directly to your iPhone's home screen. This gives you a real-time view of:
Current Epoch Progress: How far along the current 5-day epoch is.
Blocks Produced This Epoch: Blocks your chosen pool has produced during the current epoch.
All-Time Blocks Produced: Blocks your choosen pool has produced since the pool registration.
Understanding Rewards (Simplified):
Every 5 days (a Cardano "epoch"), the Cardano blockchain rewards pools that successfully produce blocks. The more blocks a pool produces, the more ADA it earns. This earned ADA is then distributed to the pool's delegators (you!), minus a small fee for the operator. The amount you earn depends on how much ADA you've delegated to the pool.
Why is Pledge Important?
Pledge is a mechanism within Cardano that incentivizes pool operators to act responsibly. It's the amount of ADA that the operator personally stakes in their pool. A higher pledge shows a greater commitment from the operator and aligns their interests with those of their delegators.
Ready to Get Started?
Download ADAM app today and start exploring the ADAM's VIP Pools! Help support decentralization, discover dedicated operators, and earn rewards along the way. Below see the quotes from some of SPOs why you should delegate with them.
Ticker “HYPHY” says:
Delegating to my pool helps decentralisation as I run outside of data centers, it also supports new technologies like Mithril and testnets like SanchoNet. Mithril is stake-based, much like Cardano itself, and so the more stake to those pools, the better it is for the Mithril protocol.
Ticker “HAPPY” says:
I've started my pool little over two years ago and meanwhile it has grown to an active stake of more than 50 million ADA with 3500 blocks produced and counting. We're delivering a good and reliable yield for our delegators and in the near future we'll open a claiming portal on our website so delegators can claim additional tokens (initially TOKE) to even further increase their APY. By delegating you'll also be supporting our mission: making the planet cleaner and greener. We do this by running the pool fully on renewable energy in datacenters in Sweden and Canada. Furthermore we donate 30% of the pool income to reforestation, plastic waste cleanup and ocean conservation projects worldwide, every month.
Ticker “BROCK” says:
Delegating to BROCK Pool supports Brock's full-time contributions to the Cardano ecosystem such as governance participation, decentralization-forward product development, community safety advancement and user experience improvement.
Ticker “ECP” says:
Delegating with my pool means supporting the Cardano Network, decentralization and empower me to contribute my knowledge to the community through my guides and proposals.
Ticker “CHIL” says:
Delegating with Chile Stake Pool [CHIL] means supporting an independent operator with over 4 years of experience on the Cardano network. We believe in true decentralization, providing security and reliability to our delegators while actively contributing to the community through education, workshops, and developing blockchain ecosystems in Latin America. By delegating with CHIL, you not only earn rewards but also strengthen a pool committed to Cardano's growth. Thank you for your support!
Ticker “SNAKE” says:
The reason to stake with SNAKE should be that we develop dapps... but is still a dream for now... what I ever offered consistently is my expertise, the reliability both as person and infrastructure. Definitely the passion in doing this. I’m also a DRep “drep1yt56tpzpzu58zy7pz4zwfp32rq95tj3xfxmdrg8k3qhxjlccp47cn” 💚
