About Her
Grace Adzuah is an MBA Business Analytics candidate at the University of Delaware. She works as a Data and Administrative Intern at the Delaware Small Business Development Center, where she supports strategy and decision-making by providing data-driven insights. With her background in accounting and finance, she also serves as the Treasurer of the University of Delaware MBA Student Association (UD MBASA). She is passionate about utilizing her background in finance and analytics to drive strategic decision-making and solve business problems. Grace is committed to continuous learning and diversity in tech, she actively engages in professional development and networking.
Challenges She Encountered
One challenge she has faced transitioning from the finance field to data science is having to invest a lot of time and effort to strengthen her knowledge in high-demand technical skills in data science While I had some basic technical skills, I . I did this by taking online courses, networking with professionals, and working on some hands-on projects. Anytime I thought of giving up, I just reminded myself of the end goal, the motivation that made me start in the first place, and that always brought me back on track.
