Cypress- updates

Cypress has introduced several notable features in its recent releases that enhance the testing experience:
1. Component Testing: Starting with Cypress 10, developers can test individual components in isolation within a real browser environment. This feature supports modern frameworks like React, Angular, and Vue, facilitating more focused and interactive testing.
2. Cross-Origin Testing: With the release of Cypress 12, cross-origin support became generally available. This allows testers to navigate and interact with multiple domains during a single test session, simplifying scenarios like third-party authentication flows.
3. Enhanced Test Isolation: Cypress 12 introduced default test isolation, ensuring that cookies, local storage, and the page state are reset before each test. This promotes best practices by preventing tests from relying on the state of previous ones, leading to more reliable and maintainable test suites.
4. Improved User Interface: The updated UI in Cypress 10 offers a more intuitive and streamlined experience, making it easier for users to navigate and configure their testing setups.
5. Native Support for Apple Silicon: Cypress 10.2.0 introduced native compatibility for Apple M1 and M2 chips, resulting in approximately 2.5 times faster test execution on these devices.
These advancements underscore Cypress's commitment to providing a robust and efficient testing framework for modern web applications.
