Flowcharts

Today, I worked on creating workflow diagrams to better understand how different entities within my company function together. This exercise was suggested by my manager, who emphasized that as a software developer, it’s crucial to understand the business side of the company. He pointed out something that really stuck with me:

"Anybody can code, but not everyone understands the company’s workflow."

These words made a lot of sense. Since then, I’ve started making flowcharts for everything I learn about the company's operations. This practice helps me grasp the bigger picture and serves as a useful reference whenever I need to revisit these concepts.
