Court Fee Calculator

Coming up with an idea takes effort, and ideas need action. My passion for creating mobile apps has always been with me.

As a badminton enthusiast, I didn’t have many friends in my first year, so I had to rely on local clubs. However, local clubs didn’t always meet my expectations, and sometimes, I encountered people I didn’t enjoy playing with. Over time, I made many friends through competitions and clubs, and I was eventually invited to join a private invitation-only group.

The best thing about private invitation clubs is the fairness in cost-sharing—everyone contributes an equal amount, calculated based on the court fee and the number of shuttles used, then divided among the attendees.

Falling in love with this system, I started organizing private sessions with two or three friends in the morning. At first, managing the costs wasn’t difficult, but as my group grew, I wanted to create a private session exclusively for women.

I’ve noticed that many women who enjoy badminton often get overshadowed in mixed-gender games. (No offense to the men out there!) Men tend to play competitively even in casual sessions, while women often just want to have fun and stay active. That’s why I wanted to create a platform specifically for women in my region.

After discussing this idea with several women, they were excited to join. However, as the organizer, I now had to manage court fees, shuttle costs, and ensure fair contributions from everyone. While I love math, I also know from my programming experience that a well-designed calculator can save time and effort.

And so, I proudly present my mobile app—a court fee calculator! Built using the latest Flutter framework, I managed to create the first version in just an hour. It started as a simple idea, and I’m thrilled with the outcome.

The next task for this application will be

1) Improve UX UI

2) Send the Cost per person to the person who attends on that day

3) Maybe do a share link with my FB account friend.

Stay tune for the next updates, the court fee calculator.

Launch my first mobile app on the Google Play store 3rd year student at Yoobee college with Bachelor's Degree in Software Development. I have an interest in tackling a wide range of programming challenges. I enjoy working on some project with React, JavaScript, and Typescript, and I've also learned C++ for the backend projects. During my learning period, I took some of the Cloud courses like AWS Cloud fundamental and Microsoft Azure AI to get an idea for these two cloud platforms. During my semester break, I created my first mobile application by using the Flutter framework which makes me understand Dart language. The main reason the app is born was because I wanted to solve my problem and create an easy UX/UI "NOTEPAD" compare to other mobile app around the store. My work mainly focus on Object-oriented programming (OOP) technique because I truly understand OOP programming code easy to maintain and organized. During my practice, I always maintain DRY (Don't repeat yourself) method in my work. I am also enjoy applied Agile methodology because I believe that divided project into smaller part able to get customer feedback immediately and make changes when needed. Done two official certification, which is AWS Cloud fundamental and Microsoft Azure Ai fundamental
