Learn AWS with me

What is cloud?
Before we learn what is cloud we have to learn how it all started and why it all started and what did the companies used before the concept of concept of cloud is introduced? Let’s dive in.
Earlier around 15-20 yrs before people use to buy the servers and deploy there applications. The companies like IBM etc used to sell the servers to the companies. Companies used to bring the servers and establish the datacenters in there respective areas. The ineffective usage of the servers used to cost a lot to the companies where buying one more server for one more application by not using the previous server effectively.
Problem :wasting resources on a server
Solution: Virtualization
Virtualization:
Virtualization is a technology where we will be able to create multiple virtual environments or instances on a single physical machine.
The VM can be created from any part of the world and used from any part of the world.
So, we can say that the cloud is where we can access from any part of the world by just requesting for the services.
Cloud Computing is where we delivery computing services like servers, storage, databases, networking, software etc over the internet(cloud) instead of on local computer or the physical servers.
Private Cloud:
The private cloud is where the cloud environment is only used by the single organization.
Advantages:
→Security and Privacy
→Full control can be done by the organization
Public Cloud:
The public cloud is where computing services offered by the third party providers over the internet.
Examples:
AWS, Azure, GCP
These are called pay-as-you-go services.
Advantages:
Cost Effective
Less Maintenance
Scalability
WHY AWS than others?
→Early Mover
→Largest market share
→Started the concept of cloud before everyone
→Started as Web Services but right now it provides wide range of services.
→Scalability and Performance
→Security
→Cost Effectiveness
Are people going back from cloud?
This is basically people moving from the cloud to on premises which is building there own private clouds with own datacenters.
—private cloud→ public cloud→ private cloud
Few reasons were security ,no ideal cost optimization.
