Managing EC2 Instance Ports on AWS: A Step-by-Step Guide

After installation of the application (eg. our app) is to open up port 3000.

  • Go to aws console and go to ec2 instance

  • Select the instance in my case monitoring_server then select security

  • click on the security group

  • Click on Edit Inbound rule

  • Click on Add rule then type the port number(3000)

  • Click on Save rules
